Default settings

Eliminate the need to type the same shipper or consignee address over and over again for each new shipment. Common fields in the top and bottom part of the declaration form for dangerous goods can now be automatically populated with pre-defined user input.

Default settings help automate the top and bottom parts of a declaration form Fields in the top part include:
  • Shipper's address, Consignee address, Air waybill number, Shipper's reference number, Airport of departure and Airport of destination
Fields in the bottom part include:
  • Additional handling information, Emergency telephone number, Signatory name, Title of signatory, Place and location

Technical names database

Save, manage and use technical names common and uncommon to applicable proper shipping names on your shipper's declaration. Technical names can be found using an intuitive smart search that finds matching technical names in real time as you type in each alpha numeric character.

Add, edit and delete technical names in the technical name manager window of ShipHazmat.

When the user selects a UN number or proper shipping name that requires a technical name, new technical names can also be saved into the database at the user's discretion. At this time, users can also select from an existing list of previous saved names or pre-defined names using the smart search aspect.

Technical names can be saved while entering a dangerous goods item

Technical name database stores all of your long, complicated chemical names

Product codes

Some businesses uses product codes to refer to a specific UN number or proper shipping name, a specific range of the net quantity being shipped and the type of packaging used. Using ShipHazmat, there's no need to reinvent the wheel when you use our product code feature.

Product codes help reduce the time necessary to select and create a line entry in ShipHazmat.

Shipper and consignee search

Avoid typing repetitive information on each new shipper's declaration form by using pre-defined addresses for the shipper and consignee entered into the address manager database. The smart search aspect lets you find an address by entering any part of the address in real-time.

Smart search for shipper and consignee addresses reduces repetitive typing.

Shipment search

Our advanced shipment search allows users to recall any previously created and completed hazmat shipment created with ShipHazmat. Searched shipments can then be reloaded and reprinted (e.g. to comply with regulatory guidelines for record retention of shipped hazardous materials).

Advanced shipment search helps users quickly find completed shipments.
